Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you buy and use the CusBot Smart AI Customer Service assistant. Last updated 21 September 2026.

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the CusBot website and the Smart AI Customer Service assistant we deploy for you. By ordering, or by using an admin account, you accept them. If you are ordering for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

The service

We build a customer-service assistant from content you supply (your website and/or documents), install a chat widget on your site, style it to your brand, and verify that it answers real questions accurately. When your content changes you tell us and we retrain and redeploy.

Your responsibilities

You must have the right to use the content you give us, and you are responsible for what your assistant says on your behalf. You agree not to use the service to send spam, to harvest personal data without a lawful basis, to distribute malware, or to break the law or someone else's rights.

Fees and payment

There are two products. Product A is a yearly subscription of $468. Product B is a one-time setup and integration service of $79, which covers installation, configuration and verification. Product A includes 2,000 replies each month; the allowance resets on the first day of each month and does not carry over. Replies beyond the allowance are $7 per additional 2,000.

Payments are taken by Waffo Pancake, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake calculates, collects and remits any VAT, GST or sales tax due on your purchase, and it issues your receipt or invoice. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude those taxes; the tax due is calculated at checkout by our Merchant of Record, and the total including tax is shown to you before you confirm the payment.

Renewal and cancellation

Product A is a yearly subscription. It renews every twelve months at the yearly price that applies at the time ($468 today) until you cancel. We email you before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from the payment page of your portal or by emailing support@cusbot.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the twelve months you have already paid for, and the service stays available until then. Product B is a one-time charge and never renews.

Auto-renewal and your explicit consent. The yearly subscription renews automatically each year only because you have given us your explicit consent to do so. You give that consent the first time you start the subscription, and you can withdraw it at any time: turning off auto-renewal stops any future charge, and the service remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for. No year is ever billed before you have been told the price and the date it will be charged, and you are always free to cancel before that date. Cancelling your consent is free, takes effect at the end of the paid period, and requires no reason.

Who takes the payment

The service is sold by CusBot and your contract for the service is with us. The payment itself is taken, and the receipt or invoice is issued, by Waffo Pancake as our Merchant of Record. Questions about a charge can go to either of us: order@cusbot.com reaches us, and your receipt carries Waffo Pancake's own support details.

Refunds

Refunds follow our Refund, which forms part of these terms.

Your content and our intellectual property

You keep ownership of the content you give us, and you grant us a licence to use it solely to build and run your assistant. We keep ownership of the software, design and know-how behind the service. You may not resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer the service.

Availability, disclaimers, liability

We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and an assistant can misunderstand a question. You remain responsible for reviewing what it tells your customers.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

Either side may stop the relationship. We may suspend or terminate the service if fees are unpaid, if these terms are broken, or if continuing would expose us or others to legal risk. On termination we will stop using your content and delete it on request, subject to records we must keep by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of the People's Republic of China have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either side may seek urgent injunctive relief anywhere it is needed.
